They  shaved one kilogram (2.20 pounds) from the power brake system, four  kilograms (8.82 pounds) of aluminum cap from the brake discs and 9.4  kilograms (20.72 pounds) of batteries. The engineers also found 2.3  kilograms (5.07 pounds) of air intake modules and 2.8 kilograms (6.17  pounds) in isolation of the engine compartment.
